Yarnell and Prescott, 23 September 2017

Everyone was along, we went thru Wickenburg, then North.  Turned off on the road to Yarnell.  We stopped at a viewpoint near the trailhead to the memorial for the firefighters.  It was a pleasant place to hang out for a while; Harry flew his drone.  We went the short distance to the trailhead parking lot.  There was very little parking, and it was full except the short-term spots, so we couldn’t stay very long.

We proceeded onward towards Prescott, via various rural highways, and stopped at a nice little lake.  There was a sick deer faun there hobbling around; it was very sad.

We had lunch at the Golden Corral in Prescott; it was noteworthy that ALL of us were now eligible for the senior pricing.

I don’t remember anything after that point, but it can be assumed we had a nice drive home.  :)

Another nice trip!
