We went some other roads, to Agua Caliente. It was a creepy old roadside hotel. Harry did some drone stuff.
Next we drove on a road that went for miles thru unspoiled desert. We stopped to do some shooting near a scenic hill. Dad had his new muzzle-loading rifle, and we all gave it a try. Ellen and Lenny shot off a few clips of 9mm, just to make some noise.
Sundad! This used to be a mine, but some hippy-types did some cool rock art here.
Another hour or two of scenic desert driving, and then we had lunch at the co-op diner. It's a country roadhouse; pretty good burgers.
More pretty farms on the way home.
